Biological Hazards

Dangers

This type of danger occurs when an animal (higher danger for dogs) chokes on food or is eating too much food at one time.

The risk of animals contracting COVID-19 is low, but if your pet is unwell, avoid using masks, wipes, or chemicals to try and make them feel better.

How to Limit & Avoid an Indoor Gas Danger

Fleas/Ticks

Wash your animal’s body with Spot-on flea and tick products but be sure to read the labels so that you aren’t putting your animal in danger or put the product on the wrong type of animal.

SIckness

If your pet is sick, avoid coming into contact with them by petting, snuggling, kissing, licking, sharing food, and sleeping in the same bed. Talk to your veterinarian and get them to pick the dog up instead. Another way to avoid them getting sick is by ensuring that they have a healthy diet and are eating the right amount of food while also giving them the right amount of exercise.
